In the conversation window, click Emotions and then click the emotion you want in your message.

Type the key combination below to put that emotion in your message.

Note

To turn off the ability to type emotions:

•	On the Tools menu, click Options, and then on the Personal tab under My Message Text, clear the Show graphics (emotions) in instant messages check box.

•	In the conversation window on the View menu, click Enable Emotions to clear the check mark.
